Ignore the Lights...

So, I happened upon this old Sand Rubies video. This was back in the days when Dave Slutes had big hair, Bruce Halper had more hair and, it seems, Ana Rosales was a taller black guy. They are playing this Friday at Plush by the way.

I thought for sure that Elizabeth would write in by now to announce that she's never heard of the Sidewinders or the Sand Rubies, for that matter.

I am so disapointed.

It is also interesting to note that one of the bands they play on the ad before the video are ex-Tucsonans Supersuckers playing their recent "hit" single "Rock and Roll Records Ain't Selling This Year."
