This Blog's Growing Influence Throughout Western Civilization

Yesterday, I posted a controversial entry about the new ads for Fanta. I did this partly because the damn "Wanta Fanta?" theme was stuck in my head, and I thought the bad humors would be released if I wrote about it. But like any treatment that depends on the release of "bad humors", it didn't work.

But, I'll tell you what did work. I mentioned in that entry that Slate Magazine could do a story on the ad for their Ad Watch section. Guess what? Slate posted an Ad Watch about the GE ad that I wrote about last week!

I bet Maritza's blog has never done that!

Speaking of Maritza's blog: for some reason, Tony is allowing a second round of voting on best blog. We need to continue Freeping. For some reason, it will not let me vote. I didn't know that Tony picked up GOTV tips from Leonid Kuchma.

And because we love our fans: loyal reader Natalie Luna was picked for an article in Sunday's Arizona Daily Star featuring Tucson's most beautiful people. It didn't make it into the online version, but Natalie sent a scan of the article. Of course, I'm posting the picture, so she'll be mad at me. Don't hate me because you're beautiful.
