Memo to Dallas Area Soccer Fans: You Suck!
Yesterday, the US Women's National Team demolished the vaunted Canadian National Team by a score of 6-2.What bugged me while I was watching it on TV was how few people were in the stands: 8,569. Bear in mind, that same park hosts FC Dallas games that can draw 20,000 (and even drew 12,000 in a midweek game this season). So, let me get this straight: Dallas area soccer fans would rather watch Carlos Ruiz flop around like a trout on the bottom of a rusty rowboat than watch our Women's National Team play? Gawd.
What the heck is up with that?
By the way, the six goals the US scored in this game is more than FC Dallas have scored at home all season.
