Dave Cockrum
I let the death of Dave Cockrum go unreported on this blog. Cockrum was the artist that helped create the "New" X-Men back in the 1970s, which means he helped create Storm, Wolverine and Nightcrawler. He was also Marvel Comics' primary penciler for their covers in the late 1970's, which means that he did many of the covers when I first became a Marvel fanatic. He also worked for DC Comics, helping update the characters in the Legion of Superheroes, who looked like refugees from Lost in Space at the time, and created some new Legionaires, most notably Wildfire.
The rumor I heard is that he died wearing Flash pajamas and was going to be cremated in a Green Lantern t-shirt. What, no love for Marvel? Stan Lee, what did you do to this man?

Hasta la proxima. Do zobaczenia

Today was a great day... Didn't have to use my AK. Now to close this Saturday, you need to take out a hundred bucks... lol
