Glenn "Mooch" Myernick
Word is from US Soccer that Mooch Myernick has died in a Colorado hospital. He never regained consciousness after a heart attack last week.What is most shocking to me is that the man was only 51, was an avid hiker and could often be seen running with his teams during warm ups. It can happen to everyone, I guess.
Myernick's old team, and probably still his favorite, the Colorado Rapids, is still in the hunt for a playoff spot. Wouldn't it be great if this is the year they finally take it? Unless they play the Revs, of course.
