Friday Night Lights
Slate magazine has an article up about the new show Friday Night Lights. The reviewer bemoans the fact that despite the quality of the show, it has low ratings and faces almost certain cancellation.Yes, this would be a tragedy because we don't have enough shows about overly pretty high school kids on television these days. Compound that tragedy with the fact that there isn't enough recognition of the accomplishments and daily struggles of high school football players, especially of those in Texas.
