Revolution 1 - Crew Zip, Zero, Zilch

Matt Reis friggin' rawks. You must remember that.

The Columbus Crew thought they had him beat when James Riley got called for a hand ball in the box. The ever more scraggly looking Eddie Gaven couldn't squeeze one by the bald man.

Heh heh.

What makes this more delicious was back in 2004, Reis saved not one, but two penalty kicks against the same team. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it, jackass!

Sorry, I get a little worked up.

Kudos to fellow Polish-American Jeff Larentowicz for scoring his first MLS goal. Larentowicz is also one in a fine tradition of over-tall goofy red-headed Rev defenders. All he needs is a goatee.

Extra points to Revs announcer Greg Lalas for invoking the name Nigel Tufnel in his pregame commentary. It is further proof of the younger Lalas's commentator godhood over jokers like Ethan Zohn and Shep Messing.

Hasta la proxima. Do zobaczenia.

*gets a tattoo on her arm with the name of whatever guy rawks*

Yay for your team!

Of course mine slaughtered their opponents in the latest game for the League Cup five-one even if Glenavon scored first.
