Given Where You Live, You Might Not Want to do That In Front of Somewhere Near One Billion People

Did anyone besides me catch Iran's Andranik Teymourian crossing himself after his team's defeat today?

Today's fun match-up: underdogs Angola verus former colonial overlord Portugal. Their last meeting in 2001 was suspended 20 minutes early after 4 Angolans were red carded for violent fouls. Portugal won that one 5-1.

What is with Alexi Lalas? I realize that his hair could look worse, and having met him before, I know it is a fool's errand to ask the man to cut his hair. But, is it too much to ask that he comb it?

Hasta la proxima. Do zobaczenia

Comments:
Well he could comb his hair off the field but then would anyone notice him? And speaking as someone with three feet of hair, I know how hard it is to keep neat so I do not blame him for not bothering.

Well...he ain't on the field any more...he was an in-studio commentator. They pay guys to make sure that such sartorial disasters do not occur.

One could get a person (spouse or *ahem*) to cut his hair when he is asleep or just whine at him until he fixes it.
