Germany's squad is suprisingly inexperienced, and Costa Rica has some of the best players in CONCACAF, including some that have played in England. I look for a suprise nearly up there with the France - Senegal opening game upset four years ago.

No Jerzy Dudek? Ack! Poland beat Ecuador 3 - 0 last year. Eucador did come in third in South American qualifying, behind Brazil and Argentina (both of whom they managed to beat at home), but Gelsenkirchen is not at the nose-bleeding altitudes of Ecuador's home stadium in Quito. Ecuador is a good team though, and look for Agustín Delgado to poke one past Artur Boruc.
