Bruce, What Is Up With That?

You forgot Taylor Twellman.
Instead, Arena picked Brian Ching. Arena argues that the five games (five games!) that Ching has played this year with the Houston Dynamo show that he is in "good form." Hmm, five games, three wins. The Dynamo beat Real Salt Lake (when they were the consensus pick at the begining of the season for "Which team will suck this year?" even Brigham Young agreed) and they beat the Colorado Rapids, who haven't impressed anyone, twice. On this data, Arena is basing his decision.
By the way, former Tucson Amigo Pablo Mastroeni defined the word "somnambulance" in both of Colorado's losses. He got picked for the national team. But I love you Pablo as a sort-of-former-teammate, really.

Arena picked midfielder Ben Olsen.
Ben Olsen?
Is it because of his spectacular performance in those qualifiers he played in? Oh wait, he didn't play in any. Way to reward hard work there, Bruce.

Clint Dempsey did get picked, however. You may remember the "Don't Tread on This" video that I posted (original video can be found here). The guy that he did the song with, Houston hip hop artist Big Hawk was murdered earlier this week.

Hasta la vista. Do zobaczenia.
