The Fall Plays the Rialto? Club Congress

with The TalkOh about five or six years ago we were excited to announce that Mark E Smith and the Fall were going to cross the Atlantic, tour the US, and grace the Congress stage.
Never happened.
A year or two ago, the good folks at Plush were excited to announce that The Fall were coming to the old Pueblo finally.
No shows, again. It seems the ever mercurial Mark E. Smith can't seem to get the American authorities to OK his visa.
So what do you think we did when we heard that The Fall were going to attempt another US tour? WE BOOKED 'EM IMMEDIATELY!!!!
Why, you ask?
Because the Fall are one of the GREATEST BANDS EVER. Those of you who know this influential band's history know of what we speak. Those of you who aren't familair with The Fall should clear the calendar May 6th and buy a ticket right now. (Um, of course we'll refund should the the IMPOSSIBLE happen and they don't show). We actually have called overseas, spoken to management, booking agents, Mark E.'s pyschiatrist, and have determined that this time it's for real.
Can't wait....!
Oh almost forgot.... North Carolina's The Talk are great and will open.
I had a half baked idea to form a Fall cover band...I dunno, we can call it Kicker Conspiracy, Bloody Professionals or maybe Jawbone and the Air Rifle. We can take the Fall's place after they cancel.
The unofficial Fall webpage has two articles from an issue of the Guardian last week. Yes, two articles that mentioned the Fall on the same day.
One is on Brix Smith (who, by they way, gets better looking as she gets older, maybe its the time away from Mark) and the other is on bands with autocratic leaders and musicians that become Scientologists. No, there are no Scientologists in The Fall. Please, give them some credit.

If you create a cover band of the Fall you could get my friends from here in Portland and England to go to Tucson. So form it already.
