Strange Dream Last Night
Okay, Dave Slutes owns this bar that's located in a ravine. For some reason, I was walking around with a dolly. Somebody steals some stuff, and I chase him down with the dolly. I can only keep up with him, but I use the dolly to slow him down. Someone else shows up and catches the guy and gets all the credit.
I ended up staying at the bar. The customers included Dan Eckstrom and Vera Berkman.
Later in the night, there was one of those activities sponsored by some beer company. You know what I'm talking about. A few weeks back for example, Todd Lybeck and I happened upon a rock, paper scissors tournament sponsored by Michelob or something. Anyway, in this dream, customers were asked to state which band was better, the Fall or the Rolling Stones. The statements were recorded and the best would end up on Budweiser's web site. I talked about how few good songs the Rolling Stones have had over the last 20 years, but the Fall could be bad, but always interesting. The Budweiser employee who ran the thing was a Stones fan who had to agree with me.
My rhetoric is amazing. At least in my dreams.
