McCloud's Badge and Gun Taken Away One Last Time, With No Chance to Clear His Name
Actor and environmental activist Dennis Weaver died today at the age of 81. He had also been past president of the Screen Actors Guild.I met him at the 1992 Democratic Convention when I was the doorman for a suite rented by him and Mario Van Peebles. At one point, I said "McCloud!" in my best impression of J. D. Cannon. He turned to me and smiled.
