El Balón Gris
- I throw some grief in the direction of Greg Patterson, aka Espresso Pundit, and the worst that happens is he puts a response on his blog.
- I quoted a misquote from the Tucson Citizen that it turned out Gabby Giffords never said. She just called me up to ask why I didn't call her first.
- I poked fun at Senator Kyl for a silly bill, I got an e-mail from his DC office correcting a few facts. Not one word about the fact that the piece on Kyl was accompanied by a picture of a muppet.
The people that take the most offense to my blog seem to be supporters of congressional candidate Jeff Latas, and they have been civil so far. I wrote all sorts of trash about Councilwoman Kathleen Dunbar and she didn't even sue me. She sued everybody else, so this was disappointing to me.
I've talked mad trash about Randy Graf, Joe Arpaio and Chris Simcox. All three of these people are well armed and have not been known to be charitable to their critics. No response from any of them.

So imagine my suprise at the vitriol thrown my way at Grey Baloon's site. Apparently, Luke Knipe was not happy with my take on his "Calexicorn" comments. So he engaged in a rant worthy of a poorly written mob movie, complete with one ethnic slur. Given that I was only criticizing his writing, it seemed a bit out of scale.
The guy even went after my brother, which was quite bizarre. Perhaps it was because the worst he could find to say about me was that I was a delegate to the Democratic Convention. Given that I was interviewed about that by the Star, the Citizen, Boston Globe and the Guardian, I think the word might have been out about that one.
So, I guess I owe Knipe an apology. I'm sorry for expressing an opinion on your writing. It is obviously highly offensive to do so. Now, please, please, don't hurt me.

Hasta la proxima. Do zobaczenia.
