The Game
Actually, some other folks got much better pictures of the game. Andy Mead and Wade Jackson have pictures posted on Yellow Card Journalism and Tony Biscaia has some posted at MatchNight. Of course, they lack my insightful commentary.

Prairie Clayton, who posts on here as "pr" (ruining the American free enterprise system) has a new banner up on her soccer site:

The field. This is from the seat that I actually paid for, in the second row. The Riders have this policy of considering their section "General Admission." So, I got their first...sorry fellas...

I arrived early with Prairie and Mike so I could help with the banners. They were kept in the Revs' loccer room and delivered by a staff member. Earlier, a member of the stadium staff had come by to make sure we had what we needed. This is what makes being a fan of these guys so cool. Jim Livengood has never come up to my mom at a Wildcats game to ask her anything.
This made me think we need more banners at Roller Derby matches, by the way. Aside from the Jezebelle Jonez supporters' "6" t-shirts, we really don't have anything.

Former Rev and now writer Greg Lalas. He played only six more minutes for the Revs than I did. He's cool though, check out his writing at g73.org.

Camel City Bomb Squad banner, dedicated to Michael Parkhurst and James Riley. Prairie explained this one to me, it involves some sort of band in Salem. Or something. I can't remember.

The Midnight Riders processing into their section.

Revs warming up.

Midnight Riders warming up.

Boo!
By the way, all of us were kicking ourselves after the Brian Hall appearance at the supporters summit for not asking "Who's your father?"

Hmm...this is too darned long. I'll post more later.

Do zobaczenia. Hasta la proxima.
