The Doctors Need Perscriptions, The Wives Need Their Pills

Leo Sternbach, the developer of Valium, has died at the age of 97. His invention inspired two songs, the Rolling Stones' "Mother's Little Helper" and the Fall's "Rowche Rumble." Valium and other drugs that Sternbach held patents for accounted for one quarter of Roche's revenues.

..."though she's not really ill, there's a little yellow pill!"

Love that song.

I have never seen valium.

Well, if Elizabeth's never seen it, I guess it does not exist.

It exists...I have heard about it all my life. Just never seen it. Kind of like you having a date, Tom.

If I was going to share the intimate details of my sordid personal life would I do so with you?

The answer is "no."

And I thank God for that every day Tom. :)

Of course the use of sordid is quite...interesting.
