Pictures From Last Night - The Pedestrians

Here's something goofy I've been thinking about. Linda Ronstadt was playing her shows at The Cup back in 1967 or 1968, which would be only 8 or 9 years before the Pedestrians' first shows. The Pedestrians are thirty years ago. But they are the beginning of "New Music in Tucson." Think about that for a bit.

Okay, these turned out not so good. Notice though the addition of the new mystery basist. Apparently, he wasn't comfortable on the bass, so they added this woman. No one was exactly sure who it was.

Another item that you can't see in these pictures is the music stand in front of Billy Sedylmayr. He was a bit shaky on the lyrics, although the band knew all of the music. That tells you a lot about early punk.

Jon Venet signed my program and was incredibly happy to do so. He told me a couple of stories about Pearl's Hurricane and what the scene was like "back in the day" like the kids say.

Do zobaczenia. Hasta la proxima.
