Apparently, Someone Got Him a Ticket for an Aero-Plane...

My brother asked me if I'd heard if Alex Chilton was found.

Eh? I didn't know he was missing. I didn't even know he lived in New Orleans.

Initial reports showed that the former Box Tops and Big Star lead singer was staying at a home in New Orleans and was among the missing after Hurricane Katrina. Well, our TPMP crack research staff checked and he was evacuated to a hotel in Houston. He survived the hurricane, no need for anyone to worry.

But, if he died in Memphis, that'd be cool.

It's actually a song reference...It's a line in a Replacements song called "Alex Chilton"

Please tell me that the New Orleans author isn't Anne Rice!

Maybe it's James Lee Burke, he's cool...
