TPMP Music Quiz - Trzy / Tres

I'm putting this in because Mexilina will complain that I have had too many soccer posts lately. Well...my Revs are in first...what does she want?

Of course, if they weren't in first, I'd post about how much they suck.

Uriah HeepFamily - It's Only a MovieOkay, I tried to put one together that Mexilina can't just look up. Here we go:

Aside from being white and British (mostly), what do the following bands have in common?
Have at it.

Hasta la proxima. Do zobaczenia.

Comments:
Tommy loves kitty the cowgirl,
But she only lusts for revenge,
To kill off the rat who murdered her dad.
Tom knows that, don't make her mad.
It's only a movie,
It's only a show,
A celluloid picture,
Wherever you go.

I know the answer, but Ted probably won't let me post it.

I think a better question that I am sure millions would be excited to hear the answer to is "What Classic Sci-Fi movie did the smash hit 80's band Duran Duran get their name?" I will give a hint, but it will be a dead give away to be sure. It was also a terribly wonderful French comic strip.

"A life without cause is a life without effect."

What do theses bands have in common? Is it that they all suck?
I think that may be the answer!

(Read this in a pathetic voice.)

Hey...Roxy Music doesn't suck.

Would Lost in Translation have been nearly as good without Bill Murray's rendition of Roxy's "More Than This?"

Seriously, Roxy Music was actually an important band.

Uriah Heap's place in history seems to have something to do with at least indirectly inspiring Spinal Tap.

Indirectly?

Directly, I say.

Listen to "Demons and Wizards," then listen to "Stonehenge." Listen to "Easy Living," then listen to "Rock and Roll Creation."

Then listen to Heep's "Gypsy" and realize that parody was redundant.

Ted knows about them?

"Easy Livin'" was a sensitive epic about Christian transformation. It changed my life.

"Sensitive" and "Uriah Heep epic" do not belong in the same paragraph.
