How Hard Could it Be?

San José EarthquakesA couple of weeks ago, I ordered a New England Revolution licence plate. I thought that I got it in the mail today, not that I have a car to put it on.

They sent me a San José Earthquakes plate. What an insult! They are trying to imply that I have a thing for Brian Ching, I just know it.

New England RevolutionThe company is called MLS Gear, so I am assuming that they must know the difference between the two MLS teams.

Not only that, the company is located in Connecticut, which is part of New England, you'd think they would know the difference.

So, I've included pictures of the plates, you tell me if you'd get them confused.

Clint MathisThe Revs play Real Salt Lake for the first time tommorrow. Interestingly, several members of RSL played for New England, including Brian Kamler and Rusty Pierce, who were released after the last season. Former Revs Chris Brown, Andy Williams and Brian Dunseth (who I met and I think he tried to hit on me) also play for them. All that, plus headcase Clint Mathis should make it a fun game, although the Revs will win by two goals. The fun part here will be seeing how many yellow cards get issued.

Hasta la proxima. Do zobaczenia.

That photo is scary...I am going to hide now.

I think since Landon Donovan bailed on the Earthquakes, they are doing everything they can to try and remind people that they still exist. Can you blame them?

Well, the Earthquakes are in first place in the Western Conference. And this isn't "Diamondbacks First" place either. Even with Donovan (when is he going to sing "Atlantis"?), the Galaxy hasn't managed to win an away game in how long? Yeah, they beat Chivas. Two things about beating Chivas though, it isn't really an away game, and my City league team could beat them on a good day.
